All parameters of DEDAL fulfill European standard EN 12590:1999

DEDAL - are the highest quality specialized threads made entirely of long segment, meta-aramid fibres NOMEX® brand Du Pont. DEDAL threads are resistant to fire and high temperatures. They do not burn and do not melt. Decomposition temperature of DEDAL threads is approximately 370ºC. They are characterized by good sewing ability and high resistance to UV radiation. DEDAL threads have Certificate of Flame Resistance issued by a competent certification authority.
